Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. I love ice cream! I had their coconut lemon sorbet. It was perhaps the least tasty vegan ice cream I have had in the bay. Did you know that fat helps create delicious creamy crystals in ice cream? You can use almost any fat. Although generally speaking saturated fats lead to better texture - coconut cream is a classic example of a non cow based (ie vegan) saturated fat. I though when I ordered coconut lemon sorbet there would be coconut fat. I was mistaken. I thought when I ordered coconut lemon sorbet there would be a delicious acidic lemon flavor pop. I was mistaken. I got seemingly a vaguely coconut-y vaguely lemon-y frozen water based frozen dessert. I have had plain lemon sorbets that absolutely crush, lemon sorbet is one of the easiest sorbets to make (I make a lot of ice cream). It's literally water sugar lemon juice (if you want it really good maybe even a little bit of salt, zest, maybe even some basil). A vegan coconut ice cream is similarly really easy to make tasty! Coconut fat is so good! Please please please just try using a different saturated fat than cream from cows for a couple of your ice creams. It's not hard. I promise. If that's too hard just do a killer simp

Terrific ice cream and friendly service! I had the Pink Guava and Meyer Lemon. Both perfectly creamy and flavorful. The young man serving was kind and patient, efficiently making the waffle cones while customers pondered their tasting spoonfuls.

I’d heard so much about the handcrafted, organic iScream on Solano that I had to stop by. Ordered a strawberry scoop on a waffle coneβ€”and since they no longer do half-and-half scoops, the server was kind enough to add a little salted caramel on top (the other flavor I wanted). I also sampled the honey lavender and marzipanβ€”absolutely divine! Generous scoops, outstanding flavors, and wonderfully friendly service.

Oh my goodness these flavors were SO rich and satisfying! I tried the spiced apple cider sorbet - it’s just like it sounds. Very autumn-y : ) I also tasted the cookies and cream and the crΓ¨me brΓ»lΓ©e. I ended up getting the maple walnut and the coffee and cream scoops. Can’t wait to come back and order ALL of the flavors! Love that they change seasonally.

Delicious, indulgent ice cream and friendly, skilled service. I went in for a treat at the end of the week and got the chocolate waffle cone with two scoops and an Oreo cookie crumble topping. So good. The cone was expertly prepared, with a careful coating of Oreos on the top, and served in a special frame. It was just perfect. Looking forward to another treat for myself.
